At Indian Sun and Silver we currently offer you 5 levels of UV Tanning Options with 15 Individual Units.  Currently at our salon we have the following:

LEVEL One Tanning Units:

4 - 28/100 watt and 1-32/1oo watt  20 minute low pressure beds.  We currently run Wolff Sunvision beds as part of our low pressure system.  3 of our Sunvisions currently have an upgrade lamp in them that will produce a faster, darker tan. We maintain one of our Sunvisions with less output so that we may allow our new tanners to build their base tan in a safer manner. We have also just added another 20 with 32 bulbs that will do the same as our 3 28's with a better bulb.

2- 32/100 watt 10 minute bed  that we also include in our low pressure package.  We also run a very high UVB output lamp in this bed.  The benefits of this bed is the ability to help your skin come out of it's dormant stage and begin to tan again.  One of these tan more on the red side and one is alittle more of a brown. The biggest thing to remember is not to overuse this bed and we will continue to monitor and coach you when it appropriate.

2 -  10 minute Stand-up's with 160 watt bulbs  that we are also including on our low-pressure package.  Even though this is a medium pressure unit we decided the 10 minute tan time would justify us throwing it in on the package for you.

LEVEL TWO Tanning Units:

ALL Level One Units and

1- 42/ 100 watt w/ 3 - 400 watt high pressure facials is a small upgrade amount.  With the 42 bulbs it is a total wrap around unit with a 15 min. tan time.  The High Pressure facials allow you to continue to bronze your face without the aging and wrinkling that the regular bulbs have a tendency to do.  Now, they don't protect you out in the sun, but they do ease it up a bit.

Or 1 - 32/ 120 watt w/ Spaghetti Facials  which is the opposite on the face as the above bed.  these facials give extra UVB to help tan better but also prevent burn from the outside.

LEVEL THREE Tanning Units:

All Level One and Level Two Units and

1 - 36/160 Watt VHR Turbo Bed which is considered a medium pressure bed.  It is set on a 15 minute timer and also has 160 watt bulbs on the bench and in the canopy.  This is one of the most chosen beds in our salon today.  It is an upgrade bed with the low pressure package or has a session price. 

1 - 42/160 Watt VHR Viper Bed which is on a 12 minute tan time and will give you the same results as our turbo due to the extra amount of bulbs and the tunnel design of the tanning surface.  This bed is the same cost and upgrade as our Turbo.

LEVEL FOUR Tanning Units:

All Level One, Two and Three Units and

1 - 54/220 Watt Super Sonic Suncapsule which is our premier unit.  It has a "7 minute Tan Time".  What's Your Time Worth?  This Stand up includes 22 mile an hour winds that create a no sweat Tanning environment.  This is currently the most powerful, fastest tanning unit manufactured.  We also use this in partnership with our Sunless Spray.  Read about our Sunless to see how!

LEVEL FIVE Tannning Units:

LEVEL One, Two, Three and Four and

1- TRUE High Pressure "MATRIX" Bed - This bed has an acrylic, so you tan both sides at one time.  This is a total bed with bulbs like the Facials in the 15 min. bed talked about previously.  The only think is there are 6-1000 watt bulbs over the facial area and 650 bulbs throughout the rest of the canopy and they complete the full bench of the bed.  You will continue to see the color develop for up to a day after you tan.  Also you can maintain your color (once reached) in approximately 3 sessions a month.  YOU HAVE TO COME SEE THIS ONE !!!!

We are ready to continue to add units as we grow so please check back for changes.  We also are very aware of waiting at Salons.  When we start to have long waiting times here, we will add units until we run out of room.

Sunless Spray Tanning at Indian Sun and Silver

A Sunless Spray Tan is the most popular way to gain a natural looking tan in alot of the country.  It is having a trying time breaking through in this area because of lack of knowledge and lack of education on the part of Salon owners.  We at Indian Sun and Silver have gone to extreme measures to understand the process and use the best available products on the market. 

When we introduced our Sunless to this area we were met with many road blocks due to our customers and their friends and families experiences.  We hope that through the information that we will share with you here, you will be able to better understand the process and the expected result.

Sunless Spray was introduced years back in a very popular amusement park that needed all of their performers to have a unified skin tone.  It was discovered that by processing sugar a certain way and applying it to the skin that the natural process that takes place when skin is exposed to UVA/UVB rays (browning) would take place.  This process happens because of a solution called DHA.  Solutions that are used in Spray Tanning contain DHA and bronzer.  It would be nice that the hundred or so of the solutions on the market today would all give great results, but they don't.  We have what we believe to be the best.  We feel so strongly about the solution that we use we have a Guarantee that if you follow our prep directions and aftercare there will be no orange, streaks or smudges.  If you are able to produce color in your skin when exposed to the sun or a tanning bed then you will be able to produce a tan with a Spray.  Also the techs that we have applying this solution have undergone extensive training so that you will receive complete coverage when Sprayed at our Salon.
